Seven months ago Isak had an accident, where he became paralyzed from his waist down. His life has become one big mess. When he and his girlfriend, Mette, are invited to dinner by his little brother, Johannes, in his new apartment, he surprisingly meets an old flame: Johannes' new girlfriend, Freja. Isak finds it difficult to accept his little brother's sudden success and happiness. He slowly transforms the evening to an awkward hell, where everyone tries to keep a smile on their face at any price.
